Defining Principles
It is easy to be unethical or to take the short road. We choose not to. We are a bold business that guides itself using a set of defined principles.
1. Sharia Centric. We are a business that takes Islamic Sharia Law to be it’s centering principle. This helps us to stay away from industries and practices that are unethical or do not add value to society. We do not deal in interest, nor do we participate in any activity that contravenes Sharia law.
2. Stakeholder Satisfaction – Years of experience has taught us that taking care of the satisfaction of all our stakeholders, whether it be customers, suppliers, shareholders, employees or anyone else that our business affects, correlates highly with our own success.
3. Uncompromising Integrity –Integrity is the foundation of our business. We expect ourselves to always maintain high ethical standards in all the activities that we carry out.
4. Be Profitable – As is any business, we are here to turn a profit. Our objective is to provide superior returns to our shareholders and investors.
5. Innovation and Creativity – We wake up every morning and ask what can we do today that is new, that is daring and that could improve everything that we do. We are constantly searching for ways to generally build a better business.
6. Fairness and Equality – Our work environment globally is non-discriminatory and multi-cultural where everybody is given equal opportunity for personal and professional development regardless of their race, sex, religion or cultural orientation.
7. Honesty and Transparency– We like to say it as it is, without witholding the truth or relevant information. We strive to provide all stakeholders with pertinent information about our firm to encourage trust and build long-term relationships.
8. Team Spirit – Although individual creativity is constantly encouraged, our past experience shows that close knit team work still produces the best results.
9. Employing the Best Talent – We like to hire the best talent out there to ensure that not only do we build the best business possible, but that we pass on the skills of our people in form of value and professional service to all our stakeholders.
