Pistachio is a nutritious nut that has many diverse uses. al bogari Commodities’ range of pistachio nuts include varieties from Iran, USA, Turkey and Syria. The climate and planting processes unique to each of these countries impart a distinct texture and flavor to the kernel of each pistachio nut.

Our professional team of dedicated individuals will help you identify the perfect pistachio that fits your specification and budget. We are a major supplier of pistachio nuts to numerous international customers in the food processing and retailing industries.

Applications
• Culinary ingredient
• Snack. Kernels can be roasted and flavored.
• Pistachio oil
• Confections
• Pastries
• Desserts

Storage
Once the nuts are ripe (split on one end), their shelf life deteriorates rapidly. Unshelled ripe pistachios must be stored in airtight containers in cool, dry place. They can last up to 3 months if stored properly in the refrigerator or up to 1 year if kept in the freezer.

How to select
Ripe pistachios have one end of the nut split open. Unopened nuts should be avoided, as this is a sign of immaturity. You should also choose the greener kernels as this indicates better flavor.

Packaging
We can customize any type of packaging according to customer requirements. Pistachio is typically packed in 50kg bags.

Shipment
Once the pistachios are packed in 50kg bags, they are then loaded in a 20-foot container. Each container can hold approximately 250 bags, which are equivalent to 12.5 metric tons.

Proper Storage
Dates storage life depends on factors like temperature and dates variety. Semi-dry dates like Zahidi has longer storage life than the soft variety like Muzafati, which also requires refrigeration. Temperature of 0 degrees Celsius allows a storage period of 6 to 12 months. For short storage, a temperature of 5 – 13 deg Celsius must be maintained to prevent insect infestation. Storage of over 1 year is possible if the dates are frozen at -18 degrees Celsius. Humidity in storage areas should be in the range of 70% – 75%.

How to select
Dates fruit should possess the characteristic color and flavor of the variety or cultivar. Inspect the dates’ external and internal (slit the dates open if it’s pitted) appearance for discoloration, deformity, broken skin, decay, mold, puffiness, and insect infestation.

Packaging
We can customize any type of retail or wholesale packaging according to customer requirements. Wholesale products are typically packed in 30kg pp bags or 10kg cartons.

Shipment
