Storage
Almonds should be stored in an airtight container to avoid odor and moisture absorption, which will affect its quality and shelf life. It can last up to 2 years if kept in a cool, dry and dark environment.
How to select
Almonds have a tendency to go rancid if kept too long. Slice open an almond in half and check if the interior has a solid white texture. If the color is yellowish or appears to have a honeycomb texture, the almond is already old and should be discarded.
Packaging
We pack our almonds in cartons that weigh 50lbs each.
Shipment
Products are packed in cartons and are then loaded in a 20-foot container. Each container can hold approximately 720 cartons, which are equivalent to 16 metric tons.
