Lentils or dal, as they are known in the Indian subcontinent, is an important component in many regional and international cuisines.  al bogari Commodities supplies a range of lentils to a growing list of international customers. Demand for our lentils, particularly the whole, split and robin varieties, have made us expand our sourcing network to allow customers more options for their specific product requirements.

Storage
Lentils have been popular due in part to their ability to last almost indefinitely. Ideally, you should use lentils within a year of purchase to obtain the best flavor. Keep lentils in sealed containers in a cool, dry place to avoid discoloration and extend its shelf life.

How to select
Lentils are available in a wide range of colors. Each has its own characteristics so you should carefully choose the one that is appropriate for the dish that you plan to prepare. In general, the color must be uniform. They should also be dry, clean and firm.

Packaging
Lentils are packed in 25kg and 50kg pp bags.

Shipment
Products are packed in bags and are then loaded in a 20-foot container. Each container can hold approximately 460 bags, which are equivalent to 23 metric tons.
