Storage
Like most spices, cloves should be kept away from direct sun and moisture. An airtight container stored in a dark and dry place is perfect for cloves.

How to select
The color of the stalk should be reddish-brown and the bud must be light brown and firmly closed. They exhibit an aroma that is pungent, savory and peppery which are very unique among exotic spices.

Packaging
Cloves are packed in jute bags that weigh 50kg each.

Shipment
Packed products are loaded in a 20-foot container. Each container can hold approximately 260 bags, which are equivalent to 13 metric tons.
